Executive Summary (General Business): The proposed ordinance facilitates the conveyance of three (3) Residential Real Property Lots to St. Lucie Habitat for Humanity CHDO, INC. a Florida Not for Profit Corporation, for the Development of Affordable Homeownership Units as part of the Home Investment Partnership Program with St. Lucie County.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the ordinance authorizing the conveyance of three (3) residential real property lots to St. Lucie County Habitat for Humanity CHDO, Inc., a Florida not for profit corporation.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the ordinance authorizing the conveyance of three residential real property lots to St. Lucie Habitat for Humanity CHDO, Inc.
2. Move that the Council not approve the ordinance and provide staff with direction.

Background: The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) requires participating jurisdictions to reserve a minimum of fifteen percent (15%) of their annual HOME allocation for housing activities undertaken by qualified Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs).
