Summary Brief (Agreements/Contracts only)
1. Prepared by: Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative at the John F. Kennedy School of Government
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie ("City") and President and Fellows of Harvard College acting through the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative at the John F. Kennedy School of Government
3. Purpose: This MOU provides for the City's engagement of one or more Bloomberg Harvard City Hall Fellows. These fellows are graduates of masters or professional degree programs at Harvard University and will provide for each fellow the opportunity to work with the City Manager's leadership team for a two-year term on a specific policy area.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New
5. Duration: The latter of five years or the completion of engagement of the last fellow whose term began before the expiration of the fifth year.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The fellow will be able to provide skills and insight to support the City in improving services to residents.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The salary of the fellow will be paid by Harvard through the two-year fellowship. The City will provide office space and access to software programs as may be appropriate for the Fellow's work. The City will also provide access to additional training resources if deemed necessary.
