Executive Summary (General Business): This amendment to Title III - "Administration," Chapter 35 - Finance; Purchasing, of the Ordinances of the City of Port St. Lucie, Florida, is proposed to update the City's procurement ordinance to comply with state law and protect the City's cybersecurity, security, and firesafety information.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the ordinance amending Title III - "Administration," Chapter 35. Finance; Purchasing.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the ordinance amending Title III - "Administration," Chapter 35 - Finance; Purchasing.
2. Move that the Council not approve the changes to the ordinance and provide staff with direction.

Background: Effective July 1, 2022, State Law was enacted to exempt certain cybersecurity information from public records and/or public meetings. Florida Statutes also provides similar exemptions for certain security and firesafety information.
