Background: The proposed use is a private school with a baseball training facility. The applicant is requesting a Special Exception Use (SEU) approval for the recreational component of the project. The applicant proposes to occupy space within an existing building on the developed site with interior modifications to accommodate the training functions. No exterior site changes are proposed. The overall operation consists of two functions; a daytime academic program and an indoor recreational facility that operates during evenings and weekends. This separation in hours of operation eliminates any overlap in parking demand.
