Purpose: The Utility Systems Department (USD) is seeking to engage a qualified vendor to provide hauling and proper disposal of Mercury Float Switches that have been utilized in the City's wastewater collection systems. This engagement is critical to maintaining environmental compliance and ensuring the safe operation of the City's wastewater infrastructure.

5. Duration: The contract term is three (3) years, with two (2) additional two-year renewal options available.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: This project will establish a formal contract with a certified and qualified vendor to provide the safe transportation and environmentally compliant disposal of Mercury Float Switches that were utilized in the City's wastewater collection system.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Total Contract Value (3 Years): $403,722.00.
