Executive Summary (General Business): Mattamy Palm Beach, LLC, (Developer) has submitted an agreement for the conveyance of park sites to the City for the Western Grove DRI. The conveyance agreement is required by Conditions 63 of the Western Grove DRI to address the demand for parks created by the project in accordance with the City's level of service standards for Park and Recreation Facilities.

Presentation Information: Staff will be available to answer any questions.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the agreement.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the agreement.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.

Background: Condition 63 of the Western Groves DRI requires the developer to prepare a plan to be approved by the City for the provision of neighborhood and community recreational sites and facilities. The plan has to identify that Western Groves is required to provide the City with 50 acres of net usable park acreage to meet the City's level of service requirement of 5 acres of parks and recreational facilities per 1,000 population based on the amount of residential development approved for the DRI. It has to show the locations of proposed parks and recreational facilities, and provide a schedule for the conveyance of parks sites.
