Summary Brief (Agreements/Contracts only)
1. Prepared by: Utility Systems Department ("USD").
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Florida Power and Light Company ("FPL").
3. Purpose: To grant FPL entry to the Prineville Water Treatment Facility which will allow for a temporary power source for a drilling rig substation.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The agreement will automatically expire after completion of the project or five years after the effective date, whichever occurs later.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: This agreement allows FPL to provide temporary electrical services for a drilling rig substation that is needed to assist in the construction of a second injection well at the Prineville Water Treatment Facility.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): There is no cost to the City for this agreement.
