Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Ordinance abandoning fourteen (14) feet of the rear twenty (20) foot utility and drainage easement located at 2681 SW Tanforan Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Ordinance abandoning fourteen (14) feet of the rear twenty (20) foot utility and drainage easement located at 2681 SW Tanforan Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Florida.
2. Move that the Council not approve the abandonment and provide staff direction.

Background: The real property located at 2681 SW Tanforan Blvd., Port St. Lucie, Florida, was platted with a rear twenty (20) foot wide utility and drainage easement. The pool, deck, and screen enclosure and the rear of the house were constructed prior to purchase by the owner. A fourteen (14) foot wide portion of the easement will need to be abandoned. The owner of the property has submitted a request for the abandonment to the City.
