Summary Brief (Agreements/Contracts only)
1. Prepared by: Autumn Bryan, Procurement Contracting Officer I, PMD.
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and McGrath Rent Corp. d/b/a Mobile Modular Management Corporation ("Mobile Modular").
3. Purpose: Staff is requesting that Council approve participation in the Cooperative Contract for purchases as needed throughout the Contract term. However, the known purchase is to allow the Utility Systems Department (USD) to purchase a modular building which shall contain approximately ten (10) office spaces and include restrooms.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: Upon execution through February 24, 2027, with optional one (1) year extension upon the request of Sourcewell and written agreement by Supplier, and agreement with the City.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The known purchase relocatable structure will serve as temporary workspace during site improvements at various Utility sites. The modular building will be temporarily placed at these locations to accommodate staff and contractors while they perform onsite tasks. USD did perform a cost benefit analysis between renting the modular building verse purchasing it. As such, it was determined that purchasing the building was a better value.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The purchase price for this modular building is $304,618.00. For additional purchases under the Cooperative, expenditures shall be as approved in current/future budget, if needed. Mobile Modular's Quote is ...
