Executive Summary (General Business): Changes to the City's budget are customary and anticipated throughout the fiscal year due to the nature of operations. This amendment will adjust the operating and capital budget for each department/fund identified noting the sources and uses of funds necessary to complete FY 2021-22 budget. All amendments to the City's budget require two readings.
Presentation Information: A brief power point presentation will be given by Caroline Sturgis, C.P.F.O., Director of Office of Management and Budget.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the FY 21/22 second budget amendment.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the FY 21/22 second budget amendment.
2. Move that the Council provide staff direction.
Background: N/A
Issues/Analysis: Changes to the budget total need to be approved by City Council.
Financial Information: This budget amendment will address additional project costs due to growth, Solid Waste and Medical Claims.
