Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Resolution authorizing the acquisition of a Lot 1, Block 1662, Port St. Lucie Section Five.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Resolution.
2. Move that the Council not approve the Resolution and provide staff direction.

Background: As the City's population continues to grow and traffic increases, staff continue to monitor the development of the in-fill General Development lots throughout the City to ensure that the development of these lots do not create unnecessary hazards to the existing roadway infrastructure. The vacant single family residential lot at 792 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd is located immediately following the Port St. Lucie Blvd C-24 Canal Bridge.
