body
Submitted By: Kevin Eggleston, Procurement Contracting Officer I, Procurement Management Division (PMD).

Strategic Plan Link: The City's Goal of high-quality infrastructure and facilities.

Summary Brief (Agreements/Contracts only)
1. Prepared by: Kevin Eggleston, Procurement Contracting Officer I, PMD.
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and SAK Construction, LLC.
3. Purpose: To provide trenchless sanitary and storm sewer rehabilitation services using cured-in-place pipe ("CIPP") technology to restore aging gravity sewer infrastructure, improve structural integrity, and reduce surface disruption throughout the Utility Service Area.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The term of the agreement is from the date of execution through September 30, 2026.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Trenchless sanitary sewer rehabilitation significantly reduces surface disturbance, thereby preserving roadways and landscaping while minimizing the impact on residents and businesses. By eliminating the need for extensive excavation, trenchless methods also lower construction costs and shorten project timelines. Furthermore, these technologies provide durable, long-term solutions with service lives exceeding 50 years, comparable to newly installed PVC pipes.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The estimated annual cost is $100,000.00.
