Background: The intersection on SW Village Parkway in front of the new, to be built, Fire Station 20, is required to be upgraded to full signalization to better manage traffic. Due to the needs of Fire Station 20 the Fire District desired to install a span wire design and the city desired a full mast arm design for the signal per section 9.2.1 of the City's Engineering Code and for the additional Stars and Stripe Park ingress/egress.
