Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding good cause shown, per Chapter 35.04(c) and approve Comcast Enterprise Services Agreement to transition the current AT&T 100mb connection with a Comcast 1gb connection which will increase the capacity by ten times.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Comcast Enterprise Service Agreement.
2. Move that the Council not approve the Comcast Enterprise Service Agreement and provide staff with direction.

Background: The City has three internet connections, one with Blue Stream and two with AT&T. Transitioning the 100mb AT&T connection to the 1gb Comcast connection will increase diversity of the internet services and connection of the City and will improve the reliability of services in the event of a single connection failure.

Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the Comcast Enterprise Services Agreement and finds that it meets the needs of the City.
