Executive Summary (General Business): LAP and City funds have been budgeted in the Road and Bridge Capital Improvement Program. The adaptive traffic signal control system will have an anticipated useful life of 30 years with an estimated annual (present worth) subscription cost of $1,000.00 per intersection in addition to standard maintenance costs. The processing of the Supplemental Agreement reconciles the LAP Agreement total project cost with the Department's concurrence and the City's construction bid award.

Background: The City is pursuing LAP funding from FDOT for the installation of an adaptive traffic signal control system along SW Gatlin Boulevard from SW Village Parkway to SW Savona Boulevard. The two signalized intersections in the vicinity of the Interstate 95 interchange are excluded as the adaptive signal control equipment will be installed as part of the interchange improvements currently under construction.
