Executive Summary (General Business): Approval of the Collective Bargaining Agreement ("CBA") between the City of Port St. Lucie ("City") and the International Union of Police Associations ("IUPA") Local 6018, representing the Lieutenants bargaining unit, effective October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2024. This is a three-year agreement with no reopener.

Presentation Information: Staff is available to provide a brief presentation and to answer any questions the Council may have.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Agreement.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Agreement.
2. Move that the Council provide staff direction.

Background: The IUPA Lieutenants bargaining unit represents 5 Lieutenants. The current contract expired on September 30, 2021 and remains status quo until a successor agreement has been negotiated. Bargaining commenced on March 31, 2021, with the parties having met for four (4) negotiation sessions. The Agreement presented was ratified by the membership on November 2, 2021. The Agreement is retroactive to October 1, 2021 and the economic package remains within the parameters authorized by City Council.
