2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and LEB Demolition & Consulting Contractors Inc.
3. Purpose: Piggyback the City of Fort Pierce demolition contract with City of PSL Contract #20230069 to Award Demolition Services to L.E.B. Demolition & Consulting Contractors, Inc. for the demolition of City owned vacant buildings on the property of the City of Port St. Lucie City Center. The vacant warehouse and vacant Beall's Outlet buildings are to be demolished due to the condition of the buildings.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The initial term began on October 15, 2022 through October 14, 2023. The City of Fort Pierce exercised the 1st renewal option. There is an additional twelve-month renewal period available.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The demolition and grading of the two-property sites are essential to move forward with the City Center's Master Plan expansion.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated expenditure for this FY is $317,579.00. Future expenditures will be appropriated in the approved budget s for each fiscal year.
