3. Purpose: The CST restroom purchase for The Port District is to support the Park & Playground Infrastructure and Improvement Project (PPIIP).
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: 4-year Contract beginning on October 13, 2021, and continue through October 15, 2025.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The direct purchase of the prefabricated CXT Taos restroom will result in significant cost savings for the City by removal of the sales tax.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Total cost of $312,440.20.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown, and participate in the Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #081721-CXT with CXT Incorporated, for the purchase of a prefabricated restroom.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve participating in the Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #081721-CXT.
2. Move that the Council not approve participating in the Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #081721-CXT and provide staff with direction.
Background: The construction of The Port District - Park & Playground Infrastructure and Improvement Project (PPIIP) is highlighted as a Priority Project for Fiscal Year 22/23.
