Executive Summary (General Business): This is a request from Trea Midway Road LLC to amend the Master Sign Program for Midway Business Center. The proposed amendment to the program is to provide updated criteria that will allow opportunity for new and amended signage for existing and future parcel owners within the Midway Business Park area.

Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the Ordinance as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and adopt the Ordinance.
2. Move that the Council not adopt the Ordinance and provide direction.

Background:
The project was reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board on August 2, 2022. The Planning Board recommended approval with the condition that the proposed "Business Interstate Identification Monument Sign" be removed from the document.
The recommendation was presented to City Council for first reading on August 22, 2022.
On August 31, 2022, the applicant requested to go back to the Planning and Zoning Board with a revised master sign program amendment.
The applicant submitted an updated version with the "Business Interstate Identification Monument Sign" removed and an added regulation to the existing "Interstate Identification Monument Sign". The additional text permits up to 50% of the sign to be used as off premises signage for an adjacent property.
