Background: Pursuant to Section 4.04(a) of the City of Port St. Lucie City Charter, the City Manager may appoint a City Clerk with the approval of the City Council.
Issues/Analysis: The City Manager has appointed Sally Walsh as City Clerk and, pursuant to Section 4.04(a) of the City Charter, seeks the approval of the City Council for said appointment.
Financial Information: N/A
Special Consideration: Ms. Walsh has been with the City of Port St. Lucie since August 2001 and has served as Assistant City Clerk since February 2014.
