Executive Summary (General Business): This is the adoption hearing for a proposed amendment is to change 140 acres from Residential, Office, Institutional (ROI) to High Density Residential (RH) and realign the road right-of-way for E/W # 5 from Glades Cutoff Road to Wylder Parkway to reduce the proposed curvature of the road.

Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the amendment as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the amendment for transmittal.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.

Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the proposed amendment at their February 7, 2023 meeting. A public hearing for the first reading of the ordinance was held at the February 27, 2023 City Council meeting. The City Council approved the application for transmittal to the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and reviewing agencies.
