Executive Summary (General Business): The third phase of the Midway Road Improvements project from Selvitz Road west to Glades Cut-off Road is being managed Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) but will ultimately be owned and maintained by St. Lucie County. The design of the project is estimated to be completed February 2020. Funding for right-of way acquisition is programmed in 2019. Construction is currently unfunded. The City and County will need to enter into an Interlocal Agreement to formalize the details. The Interlocal Agreement requires the City to convey fee simple title to certain real property as well as requires the City to convey a temporary construction easement, a permanent construction/maintenance easement and a permanent drainage easement.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the ordinance and authorize execution of the agreement along with conveyance of parcels and easements necessary to complete the project.
