Executive Summary (General Business): Staff requests City Council to adopt Resolution 26-RXX and approve the updated Public Works fee schedule. The proposed fee schedule updates existing fees and establishes new fees for services currently provided at no charge to better align fee revenue with the cost of providing Public Works services. The proposed schedule also provides for annual inflationary adjustments to help maintain cost alignment over time.

Background: The Public Works fee schedule has not undergone a major update since 2012. However, in 2020, the City engaged third-party consultant MGT Impact Solutions to conduct a cost recovery study, which determined that fees were generally achieving full cost recovery. As a result, no fee adjustments were made at that time.
