This is a request to rezone two (2) parcels totaling 24.98 acres from Open Space Recreation (OSR) and Commercial Service (CS) to Open Space Conservation (OSC).

Executive Summary: The City of Port St. Lucie proposes to rezone two parcels totaling 24.98 acres, located south and west of Commerce Centre Drive, north of Maidstone Drive, east of Commerce Lakes Drive. The request would change the zoning from Industrial (IN) to Open Space Conservation (OSC).
Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board recommend approval of the rezoning.
Alternate Recommendation:
1. Move that the Board recommend denial of the rezoning.
Background: The 22.86-acre property was deeded to the City to meet a requirement of the Reserve Development of Regional Impact (DRI) development order for the preservation of native upland habitat. The property also contains a lake. The adjacent 2.12- acre parcel also consists of native upland habitat and was deeded to the City by the PGA Village POA. Both properties are intended to be preserved as part of the City's Conservation Lands Program.
Issues/Analysis: See the attached staff report. A concurrent land use amendment application (P26-116) to change the land use designation of the parcels to Open Space Conservation (OSC) has been submitted.
