Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the annual expenditure for Contract #20170033, waiving the procurement policy per chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown, and participate in the State of Florida Contract #4323000-14-02 with Software House International for Microsoft Office 365 Licenses.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the annual expenditure for Contract #20170033.
2. Move that the Council not approve the annual expenditure for Contract #20170033 and provide staff with direction.

Background: The IT Department renews all Microsoft Office licenses each fiscal year to maintain continued operations throughout the City.

Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the State Contract and finds it meets all the requirements of the City's procurement ordinance. City staff, prior to each purchase, will also review other cooperative contracts awarded to ensure that this contract provides the "best value" to the City.
