Purpose: Replacement of the 17-year-old Reverse Osmosis ("RO") membranes is anticipated to provide an increase in finished water quality, a reduction in operating costs due to lower operating pressures and the ability to produce quality drinking water at the plant design production capacity for the next decade.

5. Duration: Through September 30, 2024.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Increase in drinking water quality and a reduction of operating costs for the next decade. Typical life span of RO membranes is 10 years.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): FY 21 (1st year) = $402,280; FY 22 (2nd year) = $267,000; FY 23 (3rd year) =$401,000; FY 24 (4th year) = $267,000; Total = $1,337,280.
