Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board recommend to elect a Chair and Vice-Chair to serve during 2026.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Board amend the recommendation and elect a Chair and Vice-Chair.

2.                     Move that the Board not approve and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The appointment of Chair and Vice-Chair of the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) traditionally occurs during the first meeting of the calendar year. As the AHAC did not meet in January or February 2026, a committee Chair and Vice-Chair should be appointed at the March 19, 2026 AHAC meeting.
