2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Dickerson Infrastructure, Inc. dba Dickerson Florida, Inc.
3. Purpose: To construct a pair of reservoirs, 86.58 acres and 39.87 acres at the McCarty Ranch Extension to serve both as water quality restoration facilities and as future source of raw water for a future water treatment facility.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: 270 calendar days.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: This project enhances the water quality in the St. Lucie River, recharges the local water table and retains storm water generated on the property.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An estimated one-time expense of $4,363,045.00.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20230059 and enter into a unit price contract with Dickerson Infrastructure, Inc. dba Dickerson Florida, Inc.

Background: McCarty Ranch Extension is made up of 1,944 acres and was purchased by the City for water storage for the future McCarty Ranch Extension surface water treatment facility to provide potable water to customers in the utility service area. An existing 40-feet deep 100-acre reservoir exists on the site and the construction of six shallow reservoirs are planned for the build-out of the water quality restoration project at the McCarty Ranch Extension.
