6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Provides for congestion management improvements at the intersection of SW Gatlin Boulevard and SW Savona Boulevard.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated to be $168,160.78.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement.

Background: The City was awarded funding from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the improvements and extension of existing turn lanes on SW Gatlin Boulevard at SW Savona Boulevard. Improvements to this intersection are included in the St. Lucie County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
