2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Lakeview Contracting Inc.
3. Purpose: The scope of work for the Lakehurst Dr. Sidewalk Project includes the construction of approximately 5,300 linear feet of 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk on the north side of SW Lakehurst Drive from SW Bayshore Boulevard to SW Ivanhoe Drive. All work is within the City's Right-of-Way (ROW); this project is included in the City of Port St. Lucie 10-year Sidewalk Master Plan list of programmed projects.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: One-hundred and fifty (150) calendar days with no option to renew.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: This project aims to expand the network of inter-connected sidewalk infrastructure to help support pedestrian and non-motorized access throughout the City. This project also makes significant improvements to ADA accessibility, signage and striping, and the drainage and stormwater management system within and around the project limits.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): One-time expense in the amount of $939,554.50.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award contract #20250187 to Lakeview Contracting Inc., for the Lakehurst Drive Sidewalk Project.
