Executive Summary (General Business): The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC), working with City staff, will be presenting their recommendations for City Council consideration regarding the upcoming joint meeting with the St. Lucie County Commission on impact fees. This will also apply to recommended modifications to the impact fee interlocal agreements with St. Lucie County School Board and Fire District.
Presentation Information: Teresa Lamar-Sarno, Nicki van Vonno, van Vonno Consulting and BAC Chairman, Charles D'Agata will be making a brief presentation to the City Council.
Staff Recommendation: Request that the Council hear the presentation from the BAC, staff consultant and staff and provide direction to staff on how to proceed in preparation of the joint County Commission meeting.
Background: The City Council tasked the Budget Advisory Committee with reviewing impact fees to ascertain where County impact fees are expended, and assess if the City of Port St. Lucie receives its equitable distribution of impact fees.
