Executive Summary (General Business): The purpose of this resolution is to set the Public Hearing allowing the affected property owners the opportunity to provide comment and/or objections to the 2026 Streetlight Assessment Roll. Additionally, the City Council will consider approving the annual rate for streetlight fees and adopting the 2026 Streetlight Assessment Roll.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the resolution.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and recommendation and adopt the resolution.
2. Move that the Council not approve the resolution and provide staff direction

Background: On July 27, 2026 the City Council passed Resolution 26-R61 authorizing a public hearing and directing the preparation of an assessment roll for the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 2026 for streetlighting. The new boundaries approved by Resolution 23-R110 are included on the 2026 residential streetlighting roll.
