Background: On May 30, 2025, the Trust for Public Land's announced that City of Port St. Lucie will receive an On Common Ground Grant to fund Conservation Corps Greenspace Ambassadors, a resident-driven Park Stewardship program that brings together small, diverse cohorts of residents to help activate underutilized green spaces in Port St. Lucie's most park-deficient neighborhoods.
