Board Member Appointments to the Planning and Zoning Board

Executive Summary (General Business): The Planning and Zoning Board, has 3 vacancies, one at-large and two alternate members to be filled.  The City Council appoints Planning and Zoning Board members. 

 

Presentation Information: n/a

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council appoint Eric Reikenis as an at-large member to serve on the Planning and Zoning Board and Melody Creese as an alternate board member.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and appoint another applicant to the Planning and Zoning Board.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve any of the interested applicants and have the Planning and Zoning Board consider new applicants.

 

Background: Ordinance 22- 35 adopted May 9, 2022 changed the Planning and Zoning Board appointment process. Copies of the resumes and applications of all candidates are attached herewith, as well as a memorandum with recommended appointments to fill the at large position and one alternate board member position.
