Background: The Police Department building was originally built in 1990. The interior is in need of repairs and renovation to bring up to current standards. The work includes renovations to the lobby, restrooms, locker rooms and fitness areas. The additional expenses were not part of the original scope of work as these items were not revealed until the work was well under way. This work was needed to complete the project and be in compliance with the Florida Building Codes.
