2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Aerex Industries, Inc.
3. Purpose: Provide for the installation of new reverse osmosis (RO) membranes elements for the reverse osmosis drinking water plant and complete skid piping alterations.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New
5. Duration: The initial term is for three (3) years with an option to renew for one (1) 3-year term.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: By replacing the RO membrane elements and piping alterations, the USD reduces its energy use on the electrical motors. By end of the four (4) project replacement phases, the entire plant operation will be optimized for maximum energy savings.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The Total Cost is $1,967,871.34 and is proportioned in phases over Fiscal Year's (FY) FY20-24. The energy reduction is estimated between 35-40 psi which will provide an estimated $22,200 in savings per RO skid per year, and a 10-year estimated cost savings of $222,000 per skid.
