Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council accept the purchase offer for 138 SE Fiore Bello from Joseph Lowry for $80,000. However, this offer was lower than the appraised value, which was $105,000.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and accept the purchase offer.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff with direction.
Background: Following the requirements that are established in City Policy #18-01ccd, all City Departments verified that they had no use for the property and identified it as potential surplus. On April 26, 2021, City Council approved staff to dispose of the property via online auction pursuant to City Policy #18-01ccd.
