3. Purpose: Apply for a grant to fund the installation of a comprehensive security camera system at C-24 Canal Park to improve safety and support the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) in reducing crime and public disturbances.

5. Duration: October 2025 - December 2026.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The security camera system at C-24 Canal Park will enhance public safety, protect City assets, and support law enforcement with full coverage and License Plate Readers at entrance. It ensures compliance with City standards while integrating with existing infrastructure.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): $105,000 CIP fund, $105,000 FIND Grant funding, $210,000 total.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Florida Inland Navigation District Waterways Assistance Grant Resolution included as part of the Waterways Assistance Program Application Package.
