Purpose: The Utility Systems Department (“USD”) is seeking to engage a secure, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective vendor to provide Northport In-Line Booster Pump Station Improvements to the City.
New/Renewal/Modified: New.
Duration: Three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion, followed by an additional thirty (30) calendar days to achieve Final Completion.
Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The USD provides wastewater collection and transmission services through a system of lift stations and pressurized force mains conveying flow to the Westport or Glades Wastewater Treatment Facility (“WWTF”). Within this system, the Northport Booster Pump Station transfers flow from lift stations to the Glades WWTF. This project includes the installation of a new 24-inch force main manifold and installation of flow meters and pigging stations to enhance system monitoring and maintenance capabilities.
Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): One-time expense in the amount of $1,145,500.00.
