2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council
3. Purpose: To facilitate the development of a master plan for City Center, consistent with the City of Port St. Lucie's Strategic Goals and Objectives.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New
5. Duration: The master plan efforts are estimated to start immediately after approval of the agreement with Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, and the master plan itself is expected to be complete in 9-12 months. An implementation strategy / timeline for the City Center Master Plan will be produced as part of the scope of work.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The residential, business and tourist community will benefit from the development of City Center. This area has long been planned as a destination for Port St. Lucie and will help balance the amenities Port St. Lucie has to offer on both sides of the city.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The cost for the master planning activities is $141,00. In addition, the City will be securing an economist consultant to assist with reviewing the underlying economic conditions of the site and how those conditions blend with the proposed development plan.
