Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board reconsider the motion from the September 17, 2026 Meeting, and approve the minutes as recorded by the Clerk’s office.
Background: At the September 17, 2026 AHAC Meeting, the Committee approved the minutes from the July 16, 2026 AHAC Meeting with a change to the minutes. Following the meeting, the City Clerk confirmed, through audio recording, that the quote included in the original July 16, 2026 minutes was accurate. Upon review of this matter and consultation with the City Attorney’s Office, altering meetings minutes should only occur if there was an error in the recording of the transcript. Therefore, staff are requesting that the Committee reconsider its motion to approve the July 16, 2026 minutes and approve the minutes as originally presented to accurately reflect the quote as stated.
