3. Purpose: To grant FPL an easement for underground electrical feed at Stars and Stripes Park.

5. Duration: In perpetuity.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: This easement allows FPL to install and maintain electrical lines to provide power for park infrastructure, including restrooms, lighting, and other essential amenities within the park.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): There is no cost to the City for the conveyance of this easement.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve Ordinance (25-16), authorizing the Mayor or her designee to execute the easement for FPL.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve Ordinance (25-16), authorizing the Mayor or her designee to execute the easement for FPL.
2. Move that the Council not approve Ordinance (25-16) and provide staff with direction.
Background: Mattamy is currently constructing the Stars & Stripes Park for the City per Resolution 24-R11 - "Stars and Stripes Park Improvement and Art Donation Agreement."
An easement is needed for the underground electrical feed from Village Parkway to the transformer, which is not currently provided for on the plat.
