2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc.
3. Purpose: To provide asphaltic concrete throughout the City to aide in culvert replacement patches and various other small quantity asphalt needs.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: Three-years with an option for one additional two-year renewal.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Ability to maintain safe roadways for the citizens of Port St. Lucie.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated annual expenditure $270,000. All future expenditures will be appropriated in the proposed budgets for each fiscal year.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20210039 and enter into a unit price contract with C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. on an as needed basis to furnish and install asphaltic concrete paving services for projects that are less than 200 tons.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and award Contract #20210039.
2. Move that the Council not approve Contract #20210039 and provide staff with direction.

Background: This contract will be utilized by the City for projects related to new construction, maintenance, and repairs requiring under 200 tons of asphalt.

An E-Bid was issued on March 3, 2021 to 135 potential suppliers with 14 listed as plan holders and 4 supplemental suppliers. The City received 3 proposals on March 31, 2021.
