Background: As a follow-up to the email received from Dr. Nick Manzie, Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church of Port St. Lucie, I am requesting that a brief discussion regarding the City's regulations for Electronic Message Center (LED) signs be added to the August 10, 2026, City Council meeting agenda. The discussion will provide Council with a brief overview of the current Land Development Code requirements for electronic signs and allow Council to discuss whether there is interest in further reviewing the existing regulations.
