Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Ordinance authorizing conveyance of an easement to FPL for the MIDFLORIDA Event Center sign.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Ordinance authorizing conveyance of an easement to FPL for the benefit of the MIDFLORIDA Event Center sign.
2. Move that the Council not approve the Ordinance and provide staff with direction.

Background: The City owns the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. The City desires to replace and reconstruct a sign at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center. The new signage requires electrical power. MIDFLORIDA Event Center staff seek authorization to convey an easement to FPL to power the new signage. The easement is more particularly described in the attached exhibits.

Issues/Analysis: This conveyance is necessary to run power to the MIDFLORIDA Event Center signage.
