3. Purpose: To acquire a portion of real property located at 1033 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL, for the Floresta Drive Improvement Project.

6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: To facilitate the construction of improvements for the Floresta Drive Improvement Project in the vicinity of the SE Cavern Avenue.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): $575.00 plus closing costs and the appraisal.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the acquisition of a portion of real property located at 1033 SE Floresta Drive, for the Floresta Drive Improvement Project.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the acquisition.
2. Move that the Council not approve the acquisition and provide staff direction.
Background: Improvements to the Floresta Drive corridor are a priority for the City Council and at the 2017 Summer Retreat, Council directed staff to model the corridor from a traffic standpoint for both a 2-lane and 4-lane roadway section.
