6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Improved response time for the overhead projects as this equipment will require less down time and repairs.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated expenditure $251,696.00. Future expenditures will be appropriated in the approved budget.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown, and approve participating in the Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #1104210-ALT with Altec Industries Inc. for the purchase of a new Bucket Truck.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve participating in the Sourcewell Cooperative Contract #110421-ALT.
2. Move that the Council not approve participating in the Sourcewell Cooperative Contract and provide staff with direction.
Background: Traffic Division maintains 110 traffic signals, 3231 roadway lights, 40 school zone beacons and 13 warning and intersection beacons.
