Executive Summary (General Business): On November 21, 2025, our agency submitted our Letter of Intent for Law Enforcement Grant Submission. Our application was submitted on December 1, 2025. The funding will support the following activities: the purchase of up to two (2) new E-Bikes, essential for the enhanced mobility and efficiency of our Bike Unit Officers.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council accept the Grant Award and authorize the Chief to enter into the grant agreement, and any future amendments to the same, on behalf of the city.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the grant agreement.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff with direction.
Background: The TJX Law Enforcement Grant is funded through the private corporation of TJX US, a parent company to TJ-Maxx and Marshall's. This privately funded grant has awarded the Port St Lucie Police Department.
