Approve an Extension of the Luxe RV Storage Site Plan (P19-181)

Executive Summary: Section 158.244 of the Port St. Lucie, Code of Ordinances, states that a site plan will terminate three (3) years from approval by the City Council. The Luxe RV Storage site plan (P19-181) was approved by City Council on February 24, 2020, with an expiration date of February 23, 2023. Per Section 158.245, an applicant may request an extension to an approved site plan via a request in writing to the Zoning Administrator prior to the expiration date of the approved site plan. Each extension is limited to a maximum period of two (2) years and shall not exceed four (4) years in total. The applicant is requesting from the City Council a two (2) year extension, which would give the Luxe RV Storage site plan (P19-181) an expiration date of February 23, 2025.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve a two (2) year extension to the expiration of the site plan to February 23, 2025.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve an amended extension.
2. Move that the Council deny the requested site plan extension.
Background: The Luxe RV Storage site plan (P19-181) was approved by City Council on February 24, 2020, with an expiration date of February 23, 2023.
