7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The net amount of the purchase is $619,200. This includes a trade-in value of $156,000.00 for the 80 Yamaha golf carts in the current fleet. The technology rental option is a total of $3,840.00.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.08(c), good cause shown, and approve the one-time purchase of 80 new Club Car golf carts from Club Car, LLC., in the net amount of $619,200.00.

Background: The current fleet of golf carts has reached the end of its life cycle and needs to be replaced.
